Dr. Eric Berg, NDSU Professor of Animal Sciences Dr. Berg's current research focus involves using swine as a biomedical model for humans to study the role of meat in a healthy diet. In the spring of 2015, Dr. Berg was selected to represent the American Meat Science Association to provide oral testimony to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and U.S. Department of Agriculture during the public comment hearing for the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee report. 5:00 pm Pork Dinner Public Notice by the North Dakota Pork Council and the National Pork Board The election of pork producer delegate candidates for the 2019 National Pork Pro- ducers (Pork Act) Delegate Body will take place at 11:00 am, August 10, 2018 in conjunction with the North Dakota Pork Council Annual Meeting and Convention at East Bay Camprground, 3892 East Bay Road, Warwick, ND 58381. All ND pork producers are invited to attend Any producer, age 18 or older, who is a resident of the state and has paid all assess- ments due may be considered as a delegate candidate and/or participate in the election. All eligible producers are encouraged to bring with them a sales receipt proving that hogs were sold in their name and the checkoff educted.
