Welcome to Twedt Red Angus! I am a fourth generation cattle rancher. We run a 400 head commercial and a 100 head registered red angus herd between my dad and I. In 2008, I purchased the registered cows from our neigbor Dick Harding, owner of BAR R Red Angus. Dick had been selling red angus bulls for 15 years. The cows that I purchased were no disappointment. They are the back bone of my herd today. I have been selling bulls out of these cows since 2009. The ranch is located north of Mchenry, ND where there is rolling hills and native pastures. These cattle thrive on these native pastures. As a seed stock producer, it is my goal to provide you with the best gentics in the Red Angus breed I can. That is why I AI every cow I can with some of the breeds strongest herd sires. I AI about 75 percent of my herd each year. In addition to AIing our cows we have developed and extensive embryo program. We have been flushing 5-8 cows a year and putting in 80-150 embryos each year. We feel this gives us an edge to offer you the best genetics. This allows us to offer you more of the best bulls out of some of the top cows in the breed and allows us to retain more outstanding replacements.
